ABOUT

Cynthia has been a mover her whole life. From dance and gymnastics, to various sports and horseback riding, her biggest moments of joy in life have landed the feeling her body, mind, and spirit get from moving her body. This joy of discovery led study massage therapy and to a 15 year career as a Dance Movement Therapist, spreading joy through movement to those with mental and emotional challenges. However, she longed to return to her prior training as a massage therapist in 1982, to use touch to help people through bodywork and education into how their biology and form shape their way of being in the world and vice versa.


In 2000, Cynthia returned to a full time bodywork practice expanding her knowledge through the study of the myofascial frameworks in the body and how their patterns, created from life experience, impact that framework. At the same time, she began adding to this skillset by setting on the lifelong journey of studying the body, mind, and spirit through Yoga.


In 2011, Cynthia certified as an Anusara Yoga Instructor and continued her bodywork practices, teaching Yoga and massaging clients informed by the shaping of fascia and the movements of Yoga. 

 

Through her offerings in person and online, she invites you into the play of experience, finding your own joy through increased balance, reduced discomfort, increased awareness, and encountering your You through Massage, Myofascial Release, Yoga, and Retreats.
